The Niplette is a non-invasive device developed for the permanent correction of flat and inverted 
nipples.  The kit contains 2 thimble shaped molds with valve components, two plastic syringes to be used as a suction device, and an instructional video.  (May be used through the seventh month of pregnancy under the consultation of your doctor.) Can't be used while lactating because the milk produced during lactation will nullify the seal and effectiveness of the Niplette, but it can be used for a few minutes before latching the baby on to help draw out the nipple.

Helpful  suggestions for the Niplette

When using the Niplette, it will stay on much easier with the use of Breast Shells for sore nipples, preferably the Soft Shells for sore nipples made by Medela, or the Avent Breast Shells. If you already have Breast Shells for Inverted nipples, they will probably work. A lubricant such as Lansinoh,  Purlan, or vaseline will also provide more comfort and help with creating a better seal.
