Shipping


Products are shipped same day if they are received early enough and no later than next day. If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted with an option to cancel the order if necessary. Items are shipped via First Class, Priority Mail or UPS.  Delivery time depends upon your location and the shipping method, but is usually around 3-5 business days.  There is a flat rate S&H charge of $6.00 regardless of your order size within the Continental US.  Actual shipping can many times cost more than what is charged,  so if an item is returned, the refund would be less the actual shipping and insurance cost, not the charged amount of $6.00.

If you need an item sooner, it can be shipped Express Mail that would arrive next day or second day. Please contact me via phone if you desire shipping to be upgraded to Express Mail.

International orders are shipped Airmail, so you if prefer your shipping to be upgraded to Global  Priority or Express Mail, you would need to contact us via email or phone for the price. If the weight of the item exceeds what you have paid online, you will be notified to pay the extra shipping or be given an option to cancel the order. Many small items will cost the same as in the US when sent Airmail. Airmail is usually around 10-14 days, Global Priority is usually around 7-10 days, and Express Mail is usually around 5-7 days. No guarantee is given on the arrival time because once they leave the US, we have no control over the delivery. Some countries charge importing fees or taxes and this is the responsibility of recipient. We have no way of knowing what the charges will be at the time the order is placed. If your item has not arrived by 17 days, please notify us. Items sent Airmail and Global Priority are not traceable; only Express Mail items sent to Mexico and Canada can be tracked and this is the preferred method of shipping Internationally.

Returns


We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not happy, we want to hear from you. If there was a packing error or damage in shipment of the product, we must be notified immediately upon receiving the item.

Contact the manufacturer directly for defective products. Breastpumps are covered by the manufacturers warranty and they will vary according to which product is purchased. Any defective products also need to be reported to us!

All returns must be unused, in the original packing and sealed for refund.  All returns need to be received in RESALABLE condition in order to exchange or refund. If the retail packaging looks like it has been tampered with, then it will not be eligible for a refund.  Due to problems with breast pump returns, I no longer accept returns on breast pumps. These are very expensive to ship and the ones I've had returned were NOT in condition to be resold.

Since this is a Breastfeeding Business, many of the items sold are personal care items and due to FDA regulations, once the items are opened, they can't be returned. If an item is defective, we want to know and will help you through the manufacturer get a quick replacement.

Some items are non returnable....Items that are not sold in retail packaging such as: spare parts to breastpumps, SpecialNeeds Feeders, Soft Feeders, Supplemental Nursers and other replacement parts.  These items do not come sealed to begin with, so there is no way to prove they have not been used. All products sold will be new!

If you are concerned at the time of purchase that you may need to return the item, please contact us to discuss the situation.

No returns after 30 days from the purchase date. All returns must be approved before returning and the outside box must have the Return Authorization number easily visible. Any returns without the RA # will not be accepted. Any returns without a return address will not be accepted, but discarded immediately and we will not be responsible for the lost product.

All Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee that will be deducted from the refund along with the actual shipping cost and insurance fees.

The Bustier, Slings, and Bras may need to be exchanged if the wrong size is ordered.  Items returned with stains, or smells or obvious signs of wear will not be allowed a refund. Until you are sure of the correct fit, keep them clean and return in the original packing and we will be happy to assist you! Many SlingEzee babyslings are drop shipped directly from Parenting Concepts, so if the sling has to be exchanged, the return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer and the refund will be less the actual drop ship fee of $8.50 instead of the amount charged.

Many websites that sell breastfeeding products do not have a contact person familiar with the products nor do they have any breastfeeding expertise. When products are purchased with Mothering From The Heart, you will  receive free email or phone support for product use as needed and one free breastfeeding phone consultation up to 20 minutes or one free email breastfeeding consult if needed by a health care professional and Lactation Consultant.  If you live close to us, you may even demo the breastpumps before purchasing!

Many people place a priority on finding the best price for an item, but in reality, you get more for your money if you purchase from your local Lactation Consultant.  When you order through eBay or other websites that do not have someone  to handle your questions, then it isn't saving you anything.  Your local lactation consultant can assist you with pump replacement parts, or loaner pumps if your product fails at a critical time. Internet sites cannot do that for you. Besides, you may not feel very comfortable calling for assistance when you purchased your products from a cheaper website. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL LACTATION CONSULTANT!  We need them to stay  in practice to help nursing moms!
